Always renew corroded nuts and bolts. |
Always renew nuts and bolts that have been tightened further by a
set angle. |

Stripped profile
Tyres with stripped profile
Such damage usually develops over a longer period of time.
If an already damaged tyre is exposed to high stress, the
centrifugal forces which occur at high speeds can tear
components off the tyre.

O-ring
Use only O-rings that are resistant to refrigerant R134a and
related refrigerant oils. O-rings are no longer colour-coded.
Coloured and black O-rings are used.
Check that the O-rings used have the correct internal
diameters.
