The traffic signs and additional information recognised by the system are shown in the instrument cluster display and the infotainment system display (navigation system map display).

At the time that this owner's manual went to print, the road sign recognition system was available in the following countries:
Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Vatican City.

Do not let the extra convenience afforded by the road sign recognition system tempt you into taking any risks when driving – this can cause accidents. The system is not a substitute for the full concentration of the driver.WARNING
Driving recommendations and traffic symbols displayed by the traffic sign recognition system may differ from the current traffic situation.NOTICE
Please observe the following points in order to avoid impairing the proper function of the system:NOTICE
Changing headlights over from driving on left to driving on right (gas
discharge headlights)
If a right-hand drive vehicle is driven in a left-hand drive
country, or vice versa, the headlights must be converted. This
is necessary in order to avoid dazzling oncoming traffic with
the asymmetric low beam headlights.
