Torque wrench -V.A.G 1410- |
– |
Pull seal off entire length of plenum chamber cover. |
|
|
|
– |
Lift plenum chamber cover -1-
not more than 60 mm. |
|
|
|
– |
Release electrical connector -1-
and pull off. |
– |
Remove front body acceleration sender. |
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the
following: |

|
– |
Insert front body acceleration sender-1-
so that connector -arrow- points to
rear (opposite to normal direction of travel). |
– |
Tighten bolt -2- for front body
acceleration sender-1-. |
Installation position: angle tolerance
-a- is ±10°. Installation position of front body
acceleration sender may deviate by this angle along the
longitudinal axis of the vehicle. |

Perform basic setting of wheel damper electronics
→ Vehicle
diagnostic tester. |
