Special tools and workshop equipment required

Drip tray

Removing

–	Remove washer fluid reservoir → Chapter.

–	Disconnect connector -1- from headlight washer system pump -V11-.

–	Turn headlight washer system pump -V11--2- approx. 45° in direction of arrow -A-.

–	Pull headlight washer system pump -V11--2- out of washer fluid reservoir in direction of arrow -B-.

–	If necessary, remove seal -3- from washer fluid reservoir.

Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal, observing the following:

–	Check sealing grommet -3- for damage.

–	Insert sealing grommet -3- in opening in washer fluid reservoir, and ensure it is seated correctly.

–	Moisten sealing grommet -3- with washer fluid to ease installation of headlight washer system pump -V11-.

Note

When connecting the washer fluid line, ensure that the securing clip engages audibly in the connection.
