Torque wrench -V.A.G 1783- |

Remove upper steering column trim
→ Chapter. |
– |
If necessary, remove ignition key. |
– |
Unscrew bolts -1- from lower steering
column trim. To do this, turn steering wheel accordingly. |
– |
Remove lower steering column trim -2-
from steering column. |
– |
On vehicles with keyless locking and starting system disconnect
connector for immobiliser reader coil -D2-. |
Note
Before installing, check all fasteners for damage and renew
if necessary. |
Installation is carried out in reverse order. |
