Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331- |

Remove wiper arm
→ Chapter. |

Remove lower rear lid trim
→ General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70. |

|
|

Disconnect electrical connector -1-. |
– |
Unscrew nuts -2-,
-3- and -5-. |
– |
Remove rear window wiper motor -V12--4-. |
Install in the reverse order of removal, observing the
following: |

Moisten inner side of seal in rear window with, for example,
a rubber and plastic-compatible lubricant (e.g. polyethylene
glycol) if necessary. |

Check seal is seated correctly in opening of rear window.
Mark -1- on seal must align with
mark -2- on rear window. |

Connecting brake pedal to brake servo

Hold ball head of push rod in front of mounting and push
brake pedal in direction of brake servo, so that the ball head
clicks into place.
