Note
If the wiper motor -V- with the wiper motor control unit
-J400- is to be renewed, start the respective function
→ Vehicle
diagnostic tester. |
The removal and installation procedures are described for
LHD vehicles. Removal and installation for RHD vehicles are
similar. |

Removing wiper arms
→ Chapter. |

Remove left plenum chamber cover
→ General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.50. |

Remove bolts -1, 3, 4-. |
– |
Disconnect electrical connector -5-. |
– |
If fitted, disconnect connector for damper control. |
– |
Take wiper frame -2- with
linkage and wiper motor out of plenum chamber. |
Install in the reverse order of removal, observing the
following: |

Adjust wiper arms
→ Chapter. |
→ Fig. „“Removing and installing wiper motor – specified torque
and tightening sequence”“ |
