Note
The vehicle must always be in unladen condition when
measuring wheel alignment

If steering wheel is not centred, it must be
straightened after wheel alignment is finished. Then carry out basic
setting for steering angle sender -G85- using → Vehicle
diagnostic tester. |
Note
If adjustments have been made to the suspension after a
wheel alignment check on vehicles with ESP or ABS, the steering
angle sender -G85- must be calibrated using the
→ Vehicle
diagnostic tester. |
If any changes are made to the rear wheel alignment
settings, the following driver assist systems must be
recalibrated: |
Lane departure warning (Audi lane assist)
→ Chapter „Calibrating front camera for driver assist systems“, |
ACC
→ Chapter „Calibrating adaptive cruise control (ACC), except for
e-Golf“. |

If measured values are outside specified tolerances, this
