Fuel lines are secured with O-type clips. These O-type clips must always be renewed every time they are removed.
Start engine if fuel tank was empty. Then start the auxiliary heater repeatedly until the heater does not switch off by itself.
Observe the rules for cleanliness when doing all work on the fuel supply system → Chapter.
Always observe the safety precautions when working on the fuel supply system → Chapter.

1 -  Fuel line to metering pump -V54-
2 -  Auxiliary heater
With auxiliary heater control unit -J364-.
Location: behind front bumper cover on right
Removing and installing → Chapter
3 -  Quick-release coupling of fuel line
At auxiliary heater
4 -  Quick-release coupling of fuel line
At metering pump -V54-
5 -  Metering pump -V54-
The metering pump -V54- is located on the fuel tank.
Removing and installing → Chapter
Testing quantity of fuel delivered → Chapter.
6 -  Fuel delivery unit
Fuel delivery unit can be found on right under bench seat.
With fuel gauge sender -G-
Removing and installing → Rep. gr.20
