The side spoiler remains installed. |

Remove rear lid trim
→ General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70. |
– |
Unscrew hexagon nuts -3- from stud
-2-. |
– |
Forcefully press roof spoiler -1-
upwards -arrows- out of clips
-7-. |
– |
Disconnect hose -5- and electrical wire
-4-. |
For notes on hose of window washer system refer to
→ Electrical system; Rep. gr.92. |
For notes on electrical wiring of additional brake light refer to
→ Electrical system; Rep. gr.94. |

Check foam rings -1- of clips, centring
pins and threaded studs for damage and renew them, if necessary. |
– |
Check foam strips -5- and
-6- for damage, and renew them if
necessary. |
– |
Check felt strips (32 mm x 110 mm) -4-and
foam strips (20 mm x 122 mm) -2- at right
and left for damage, and renew them if necessary. |
– |
Pull protective film off adhesive tape -3-
at left and right. |
– |
Secure hose -2- and electrical wire
-3-. |

For notes on electrical wiring of additional brake light refer to
→ Electrical system; Rep. gr.94. |

Fit roof spoiler -1- in installation
position using centring pins -7-. |
– |
Press roof spoiler -1- hard onto rear
lid -arrows- until clips
-8- engage. |
– |
Place hexagon nuts -6- onto studs
-5- and tighten. |
– |
Specified torque
→ Chapter „Assembly overview - roof spoiler“. |
