2-pack fine filler -LSP 784 002 A2- |
The 2-pack fine filler is a very fine, thixotropic polyester
filler. |
This filler is suitable for repairing small defects. |
|
Very elastic for repairing plastic substrates |
|
Old paint and factory paint |
|
Fully cured 2-pack fillers and 2-pack primers |
|
Plastic parts transparently primed with 2-pack plastic
adhesion surfacer -LKF 696 009 A2-/-LKF 696 040 A2- or bonding
agent -ALO 822 000 10- |
|
Surfaces prepared with 2-pack polyester filler |
Caution
This filler may not be applied to PVB (acid-curing)
surfaces or 1-pack primer (e.g. synthetic resin). |
It is also unsuitable for thermoplastic or
viscoelastic paint. In these cases, apply filler only to
the bare metal. |

Carefully remove any grease and sand surface. |
– |
Isolate any bare metal surfaces using 2-pack wash primer
-LHV 043 000 A2-, and then apply 2-pack HS Performance surfacer.
Sand surfacer after drying. |

For UP-GF (fibreglass) substrate parts, remove residual
release agents and lightly sand surface. |

Before recoating, use a suitable cleaning agent to ensure a
clean surface free of residues. |
|
|
|

Add 2-3% by weight 2-pack hardener -LVM 018 000 A1/A2- or,
especially at high temperatures, 2-pack hardener, slow-drying
-LVM 018 100 A2-. |
Note
Avoid adding too much hardener, as this can lead to bleeding
through, especially with dayglow paints and light metallic
colours. |

At +20 °C ambient temperature, approximately 3-5 minutes |

At +20 °C ambient temperature, approximately 20-30 minutes |
|
|
|
|
Short-wave radiant heater, 3 minutes (at 50% power) |
|
Medium-wave radiant heater, 5 minutes |
|
|
|
After the drying times given above: |

First sanding dry with P180 to P240-grade sandpaper |
– |
Second sanding dry with P240 to P320-grade sandpaper |
|
|
|
– |
First sanding wet with P240-320 grade sandpaper |
– |
Second sanding wet with P600-800 grade sandpaper |
Note
|
When wet sanding, be sure to thoroughly dry the surface by
polishing with a chamois. |
|
Heat resistant to +80 °C. |
|

production. May be used until the date stated on the label at
latest if stored in sealed original containers at +20 °C. |
